# Delete a form

`DELETE /v1/forms/{id}`

Requires an API key with the `forms:write` scope. [About keys and scopes](/docs/api/authentication)

Deletes the form and stops accepting submissions for it. Contacts already created through it are not affected.

## Path parameters

- `id` (string, required, uuid)

## Returns

Returns `204 No Content` with an empty body. Otherwise returns an error; [Errors](/docs/api/errors) lists every code and which to retry.
