# Remove a sending domain

`DELETE /v1/sending-domains/{id}`

Requires an API key with the `domains:write` scope. [About keys and scopes](/docs/api/authentication)

Removes the domain. Campaigns and journeys configured to send from it will stop being able to send.

## Path parameters

- `id` (string, required, uuid)

## Returns

Returns `204 No Content` with an empty body. Otherwise returns an error; [Errors](/docs/api/errors) lists every code and which to retry.
