# Invite your team

Invite teammates with their own logins and assign the right workspace roles.

Give each teammate their own login and a role that matches their responsibilities. The workspace owner invites people and manages their roles; this guide explains the access each role provides.

## Roles

| Role | What they can do |
| --- | --- |
| **Owner** | Everything. There is one owner per workspace. Only the owner can invite and remove people, change roles, export contacts, create full-access API keys, change workspace details and delete the workspace. |
| **Admin** | Everything a member can do, plus operational setup: add sending domains and push apps, import large contact files, manage the suppression list, create webhooks, read the request log, approve actions Kiro AI proposes, and edit the business context Kiro AI uses. |
| **Member** | Create and edit contacts, groups, segments, templates, campaigns and journeys. Members can send campaigns and turn on journeys unless the owner has limited sending to admins. |

One login can belong to several workspaces and have a different role in each.

## Invite people by email

1. Open **Settings**, then **People**.
2. Choose **Invite someone**.
3. In **Email addresses**, enter one or more addresses, one per line or separated by commas. You can invite up to 50 people at once.
4. Choose a **Role**: **Member** or **Admin**. Everyone in this batch gets the same role.
5. Choose **Send invitations**.

Someone new gets an email with a link to set their name and password and accept the Terms. Someone who already has a Kirora login is asked to sign in and accept. Their invitation also waits for them in the workspace switcher. Until they accept, the **People** list shows them as **Invited** with "Has not accepted yet" beneath.

Invitation links expire after seven days. To send a fresh one, open the person's row menu and choose **Resend invitation**. The earlier link then stops working.

## Share an invite link

If you don't want to type everyone's address, create a link instead.

1. On **People**, go to **Invite links** and create a link.
2. Choose who it **Joins as** (Member or Admin) and how long it **Works for**.
3. Choose **Create link**, then copy it. It's shown only once.

Whoever opens the link enters their email address and receives an invitation there, so the link alone never gives access. When you've finished sharing, choose **Revoke**. Invitations it already sent keep working until they're accepted or removed.

## Change a role or remove someone

- **Change a role:** use the role menu on the person's row. The change applies from their next action.
- **Remove someone:** open the row menu and choose **Remove**. They lose access to this workspace straight away.

## Hand over ownership

To make someone else the owner, open their row menu and choose **Make owner**. You'll confirm your password, and your two-factor code if you use one. The new owner must already have accepted their invitation. You become an admin.

An owner can't leave a workspace without handing it over first. If you don't want to hand it over, the owner can delete the workspace instead.

## Workspace rules

Under **Workspace rules** on the **People** page, the owner can limit sending to admins and owners, and require two-factor sign-in for everyone. Under **Hidden attributes**, they can hide sensitive contact details from members. See [Security and access](/docs/guides/account/security-and-access).

Admins and members can leave a workspace from the workspace switcher. See [Workspaces](/docs/guides/account/workspaces).
