Deliverability describes whether your email reaches an inbox. Authentication, sending patterns, audience quality and recipient feedback all affect it. Kirora monitors bounces and complaints so you can spot problems and act. Read the deliverability guide for more context.
Get the foundations right
- Send from your own verified domain. See Set up a sending domain.
- Only email people who agreed to hear from you. Use signup forms with clear consent wording, and turn on double opt-in if you see typos or fake addresses.
- Import with care. Never upload a bought or scraped list. See Import contacts.
- Make leaving easy. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email from that workspace; eligible transactional messages follow separate rules. See Consent and unsubscribes.
Check your sending health
Open Settings › Messaging › Deliverability, or look at Sending health on the Overview. It shows your bounce and spam complaint rates against their limits, with one of these states:
- Healthy: nothing to do.
- Watch: a rate is climbing toward its limit. Act before your next send.
- Critical: a rate has reached its limit, and marketing email has paused.
- Not enough data: you haven’t sent enough recently to judge.
The page also shows your delivery rate. Aim for more than 95% of sent email to be delivered.
If marketing email pauses
When bounces or complaints reach their limit, Kirora pauses campaign and journey email by itself to protect your reputation. It’s judged over the last 24 hours, or over the last week for smaller senders. Transactional email and push are not paused by that marketing health check. They still follow their own eligibility, account and usage checks.
- Find the cause. Check the campaign’s bounces, and where the contacts who complained signed up.
- Clean your audience. Bounced and complained addresses are already blocked from future email; also remove any old or suspect list you recently imported.
- An admin or owner chooses Resume email, from the pause banner across the app or from Settings › Messaging › Deliverability. Held messages then start sending, and a fresh 24-hour window begins.
If sending pauses a second time within 30 days, only Kirora support can lift it.
Lists that protect you
In Settings › Messaging › Deliverability, admins can see:
- Suppression list: addresses that never receive email from this workspace. Bounces, spam complaints and unsubscribes are added automatically and can’t be removed. You can also Import suppressed addresses from another tool.
- Signup blocklist: addresses that can’t be added as new contacts, whether from forms, imports, the API or integrations.
